Epsom salt got the name from a bitter and salty spring in Surrey and it arising from porous chalk and clay. It is composed of forms of magnesium sulfate (magnesium, sulfur and oxygen), where up to 7 molecules are attached.
It has been use for a many years as anti-inflammatory remedy used for dry skin, sore muscles or some small wound, and it`s an excellent natural exfoliator.
It`s safe to put it in your warm bath because the magnesium will be absorbed through the skin to your body. But even though it is generally safe to use it, if you are pregnant or have some serious medical condition, consult your physician before using the salt.

- Bug bites:
The anti-inflammatory properties of the Epsom salt can be used in relieving irritation from bug bites
You will need:
- 2 tbsp. of Epsom salt
- A cup of water
- Washcloth
Instructions:
- Dissolve the Epsom salt in a medium bowl filled with water
- Dip the cloth in it
- Apply on affected area.
- Problems with feet
Swollen feet, fungus, joint pain, foot odor, these can all be treated and relieved with Epsom salt.
Use:
- Container of warm-hot water big enough for the feet
- One cup of Epsom salt
Instructions:
- Dissolve the salt in the warm-hot water container
- Soak the feet in the water for 15-20 min
- Repeat once a day until problem is gone.
