Teas are a well-known immunity booster and have variety of benefits depending on the type of tea you have. Lemon tea is one such effective immunity booster and an effective treatment for cold. Below are 2 ways to make lemon tea along with benefits:

  • Lemons are anti-microbial in nature that inhibit unwanted microbes in the respiratory tract.

Ginger lemon tea- In a vessel, add 1 cup f water and 1 inch ginger roughly crushed. Let it simmer for 5 minutes with a lid and turn off the flame. Once lukewarm, add in juice of 1 lemon and 1 teaspoon of raw organic honey. Stir and consume warm.

Lemon honey tea- Heat 1 cup of water until warm and add in juice of 1 lemon and 1 tablespoon of raw organic honey. Stir until honey dissolves and consume.

Tip: Have any one of these teas right before you go to sleep, without drinking water after you have them.
